MEDICAL MISSIONS
African Women's Foundation USA appeals to health care professionals, hospitals, clinics, churches and other non-profit organizations with a shared vision to join its medical mission team and bring relief to those who are suffering but have no means to seek treatment.

The Foundation launched its first mission in 2007 at the  Limbe Provincial hospital in Cameroon. The hospital received surgical supplies donated by the Foundation. It was after the 2007 mission by the President, that the Foundation started to put together a package that includes affordable and sustainable health care provision for communities in need.

To this regard, African Women's Development Foundation has teamed up HPI for the Pan-African Community Health Project 2010. This project will reach out to Central and West African countries, starting out with Cameroon and Nigeria in 2010.
