The Founder Lady Kate Njeuma RN, BSc, PgDip




Lady Kate Njeuma is a Cameroonian-American currently resident in Austell Georgia. Lady Kate founded the African Women's  Development Foundation in 2005, having moved to the United States from England. Upon relocating to a great nation such as the United States, Lady Kate Njeuma soon realized the potential and possibilities that women in America have, especially African women.
Inspired by her mother who has been the greatest role model in her life, her mother's commitment to her children and community, she began working and volunteering in various women's groups within her community as a leader. She began to inspire many women to develop themselves and live their full potentials. Lady Kate was involved in helping the sick in times of need, rallying communities to help those in need. It was this level of commitment in the community that led to the creation of the USA_African Women's Develolpment Foundation, in 2005.
In 2007 the Foundation gained the status of a public charity having attained the 501c 3, registration with the State of Georgia.  Lady Kate Njeuma who is a Registered Nurse grew up in Cameroon and attained higher education in England where she attended the Victoria University of Manchester graduating with a BA in Economics and Social Sciences. She proceeded to enrol in a Nursing program at St Georges Medical School in London where she graduated as a Registered Nurse.  She then enrolled at South Bank University to study Health Education at the Post graduate Level. Lady Kate worked in England for a few years and got married to her husband Isaac Njeuma prompting her move to the United States to join him. They both live in Austell Ga with their 2 beautiful children Livita  9 and Embelle 6.

Motivational Speaker at various events, seminars and workshops.

Lady Kate Njeuma believes that women especially African women have a major role to play in the development of Africa and can make a huge contribution if given the opportunity.
